The first quarter of 2021 has shown varying trends for top city building games on Android in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at these trends.

City Takeover by VOODOO kicked off with downloads in the 4K to 5K range weekly, which skyrocketed to over 149K in late February and then stabilized around 58K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting from approximately 5K and reaching a peak of 306K in early March.

My Town - Build a City Life from My Town Games Ltd saw downloads decrease from 25K at the end of December to around 8.5K by the close of Q1. The game's weekly active users also declined, starting at around 26K and ending the quarter at roughly 15K.

Lastly, City Island 5 - Building Sim from Sparkling Society witnessed revenues ranging from $9K to $20K weekly. The game's downloads and weekly active users both saw a slight downward trend, with downloads starting at 6.5K and ending at 3.7K, and active users reducing from 25K to just under 20K.
